Nature and the medical, biological and physiological effects of alcohol and drugs and their impact on the operator of a motor vehicle and the dangers associated with the operation of a motor vehicle after the consumption of alcohol or drug abuse, and the penalties for alcohol and drug related with a motor vehicle violations.
The course is given in three major sections.
Two hours of Parents/Guardians/Student training curriculum standard, this class is to educate parent or guardians about the Graduated Licensing Law including passenger and curfew restrictions, Followed by, a ten question answer test. Next attendant, continued with student update on nature and affects of drugs and alcohol. The in class objective is chapter 1 ( You Are The Driver ) Your Driving Task, Your Driving Responsibilities, Your Driver's License. Continued with Chapter 4 ( Managing Risk With the IPDE Process ) The IPDE Process, Identify and Predict, Decide and Execute, Using the IPDE Process. Next attendant, Chapter 5 ( Natural Laws and Car Control ) Gravity and Energy of Motion, Friction and Traction, Stopping Distance, Controlling Force of Impact. Continued with Chapter 14 ( Effects of Driver Condition ) Emotion and Driving, Physical Senses and Driving, Physical Disabilities. Next attendant Chapter 15 ( Alcohol, Other Drugs, and Driving ) Effects of Alcohol on Driving Safely, Other Drug and Driving, Traffic Law Governing the Use of Alcohol. Included video ( Criminal Trial and Alcohol and the Law )
All chapter are reviewed by Chapter with questions and answers. Finally, Final Eight Hour Safe Driving Practice Drug/Alcohol Test, 1 Through 10 for the student.
This course is given normally Tuesday Through Friday From 3 pm. To 5 pm.
